The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract modification with the University of Rochester Laboratory for Laser Energetics for the project titled “Pulsed Laser Lethality Studies (PLLS).” This contract modification, valued at $35 million, aims to conduct investigations into pulsed laser lethality, focusing on the development of models and simulations to support the Department of Defense's analysis of various threats across multiple domains, including ground, sea, air, and space.
