Compositional Learning-And-Reasoning for AI Complex Systems Engineering (CLARA) Information Session

DARPA's Defense Sciences Office is hosting an Information Session webcast on February 19, 2026, for the anticipated Compositional Learning-And-Reasoning for AI Complex Systems Engineering (CLARA) Disruption Opportunity (DO). The session aims to introduce the CLARA DO vision and goals, and explain the mechanics of a DARPA DO, including its rapid, targeted, and limited-scope investment approach under the Disruptioneering Program Announcement (DARPA-PA-25-07). CLARA is an exploratory research program focused on creating high-assurance, broadly applicable AI systems of systems through a scientific, theory-driven architectural foundation for hierarchical composition of Machine Learning and Automated Reasoning subsystems. Awards will be Other Transactions for prototype projects. Advance registration is required by February 11, 2026, and the event is open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and foreign nationals, with specific requirements for non-U.S. citizens. Attendees can opt to share contact information or submit a one-page proposer profile for collaboration opportunities. The CLARA DO is expected to be released on sam.gov in February 2026.
