The Department of Defense, specifically the Department of the Air Force, is conducting market research for an avionics upgrade for the C208 program, focusing on the procurement, integration, and installation of advanced systems for five Cessna AC-208B Combat Caravan aircraft. The project aims to enhance the aircraft's capabilities in intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR) by installing EO/IR Turret Systems, Multiple Processing Units, Video Switch Matrix Units, and Flip Up Display Monitors, along with providing training for operational personnel. This upgrade is critical for improving the aircraft's effectiveness in identifying targets at greater distances, thereby supporting the operational needs of a Partner Nation. Interested vendors must submit their responses by 5:00 PM EDT on August 19, 2025, to Michael Benincasa at michael.benincasa@us.af.mil, as this opportunity does not constitute a formal Request for Proposal and the government will not compensate for any responses.
