    Description

    Sources Sought DEPT OF DEFENSE is seeking potential sources to provide and install a temporary standby generator system for Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), Japan. The generator system must be capable of supplying a minimum of 6 Megawatts (MW) of power to existing substation facilities in CFAY. It should also have a spare transformer, a battery storage system, and the ability to parallel to existing Frequency Converters. Additionally, the system must be able to supply a minimum of 1.5 MW for a fire protection building. Support items such as fuel tanks, auxiliary equipment, operational training, troubleshooting support, periodic maintenance, and coordination with the off-base utility company are also required. The estimated period of service for the system is approximately two years after installation.
