    Presolicitation notice from the Department of the Interior, US Geological Survey, is seeking an Ion Source for a TIMS/SPECTROMAT Mass Spectrometer. The ion source from Spectromat GmbH is fully retractable, has a proprietary contact design for fast source exchange, and is fully optimized for MAT262 TI-Box mass spectrometers for highest ionization efficiency of 0.1% and designed for a large acceleration voltage scale from 7.7 to 9.2 kV. The Ion Source is to be delivered to Reston, VA within 244 days from the date the contractor receives the purchase order.
